I don’t know many people who live near the Front Range that don’t love to be outside as much as possible. This also means most of bring our best friend or friends along with us whenever possible. I can’t get enough of watching my dog literally running in circles like a puppy when we hit the trails. Even as a vet, it is truly hard for me to leave him at home when I think I might be going out for too long, it is too hot or cold, there is too much of a risk for rattlesnakes or frostbite depending on the season. There are a couple article attached to this blog that have some great general information in them about what to consider when bringing our dogs outdoors with us. My dog, Raylan, LOVES the snow and a trip to the local outdoor shop in order for us because he lost one of his booties last year right at the end of the season and it is time to replace it. Yay SNOW!!!!!
