The time of year is approaching where we can loosen our belts and dig in to wonderful meals with our families. Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday by far because I stuff my face with my family and friends and somehow don’t feel guilty about it:) I don’t know about you guys, but it is terribly hard not to let my dog and cat enjoy some of the amazing food with me. I am usually very strict about feeding them any “people” food, but those rules seem to go out the window around Thanksgiving. With that said, I am still very careful about what and how much people food they get from the Thanksgiving table. Always error on giving only a small amount and make sure to research or ask your veterinarian about what foods are ok for your furry family members. Below is a good short article with some tips from the ASPCA on what and how much we can feed our dogs and cats and a short list I found that has some foods not to feed (not complete).
